Hello Classmates!
I am amazed how technology could contribute to make our job as future teachers more interesting, easier and enjoyable. Many different types of tecnology can be used to support and enhance learning. For example word-Processing and E-Mail promote communication skills, database and spreadsheet programs promote organization skills. However, after what I have learned so far about weblogs, I think this software has a huge potencial in an educational setting. Weblogs is comprised of reflections and conversations that in many cases are updated every day. One of the biggest potencial of Weblogs is the ability to create spaces were students can collaborate with others online. Blogs is a wonderfull link that teachers could use in their classrooms to post class schedules, calendar, homework, student work, etc. Teachers can also use wedblogs to create class portal and connect to other classrooms and parents, etc. By preparing students to be competente in technology, we are increasing their chances to be successful in a more growing society.
